![]() Since 1983 Warren Central High School has been officially recognized as a “National School of Excellence” and as an Indiana Blue Ribbon School. ![]() The township is comprised of an early learning center, 9 elementary schools, three intermediate academies, three middle schools, one high school, an alternative school and a career center serving approximately 11,500 students. ![]() The Warren Performing Arts Center was built in 1983, adding over 116,000 square feet of creative, technical and rehearsal space this space, along with the high school and career center, totals almost one million square feet. Warren Central High School was built in 1924 to consolidate the overcrowded Shadeland and Cumberland Junior-Senior High Schools. Metropolitan School District of Warren Township, located on the east side of Indianapolis, is an educational institution that can trace its beginnings in Indianapolis back more than a century.
